David is a Christian striving to work for a company with missional focus. His beliefs are simple and led by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. His faith is guided by the Bible—God’s word, prayer, and the leading of the Holy Spirit. In 2005, David realized that he was in need and that he had not let Jesus have rule in his life. Without Jesus Christ, he was going nowhere. His need, as is all of humanity’s, is a Savior. Since his conversion, he has placed his full trust in God and is learning to surrender daily to Christ and His will. David desires to acknowledge Christ in all things good. Christ has redeemed his life for God’s purposes and God has blessed him and his family continually through all things—in difficulties and easy.
So, why Jesus?
Christ says in Matt 7:17-27:
“Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit, you will recognize them. ‘Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’ “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
He also says in Matt 10:32:
“Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will also acknowledge him before my Father in heaven.
And in John 14:6:
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. NO ONE comes to the Father except through me.”
According to Jesus Christ, the Son of God, there is only one way to eternal life and that is through and by Jesus Christ, for in I John 2:23 it says “No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”
The great call of Christ is to present and to boldly proclaim Jesus Christ in every aspect of our lives. It would be wrong of anyone following Christ not to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It would be wrong of David to say that he follows Christ and does not try to spread the love, the joy, and the good news of salvation– the Gospel that is found in Christ Jesus. To put faith into action is the very definition of worship, else we are but trees without fruit. Thus, David is open about his faith in Jesus Christ and wants to share that hope to all.
David is now also serving as an Intern in the Karis Church 2-Year Internship for pastoral development.
Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about David. We hope that you will consider our business, if anything, we hope that you might accept Jesus as your Savior and learn a bit more about the good news of Jesus Christ.
